Grace Joy and Faith

It was the middle of the night. Out of a sleep I woke up excitedly to realize that I had a message!   It felt  good as if it came in a big box with beautiful wrapping paper and a fabulously hand tied bow.

Grace was an older lady.  I knew she had a sincere desire to do what was right and had a good heart.  I heard her voice on the phone and my spirit melted with her radiant kindness.  I get information through the vibration of your voice.  When she booked her appointment and I called in my guides asking to bring through anyone in spirit who wanted to speak to her I had a cranky, negative male energy that stepped up.  I kept thinking I was wrong, because someone with a heart like she had just didn't seem to go hand in hand with such a pain in the neck personality.  She identified him.  He had given me his middle name.  It was her husband, who was in spirit.

Another woman came to see me from Texas.  I couldn't say her name correctly for some odd reason.  What I have learned is that the people that are in spirit will start to change my words, and give me the symptoms or feelings of what they experienced before they made their exit into the non-physical.  The client's name was "Joe".  Every time I would speak her name, my mouth would say "Joy".  I would go back and read her name, and tell myself, her name is "Joe".  Yet my guides had me calling her "Joy".  I have done enough readings to know there is a reason for things to go the way they do.  When she arrived the first thing I said to her is "I know your name is Joe, but do you know who Joy is?"  She said, "That was my sister, her name was Joyce and she died thirty years ago."  On her paper where I had made notes before she arrived I had written "Joy/Joyce".

The night before my next reading in the middle of the night was when I realized the woman who was booked the next day was named "Faith". That is when I realized all three woman were a gift to me from God.

I am pretty convinced that there are some jobs that we step up to do, that are just not how we planned to go through life.  I ask God often to let me know if I am on the right track, doing what I am called to do, because I am thinking no one in their right mind would say "Hey God!" "Let me suffer ridicule and people question my mental stability so that I can work for you."  I believe this was a clear message when "Grace, Joy, and Faith" showed up.

The Phenomena of Mediumship

There are different types of mediumship. The phenomena by which spirits manifest their presence, demonstrate their energy, and establish their identity are, broadly speaking, classed under two heads - physical and mental.  I am a physical phenomena medium. There are times when doing mediumship work, that physical phenomena occurs.  The following is a testimony from a woman who I was reading for that demonstrates physical phenomena.

Here is my testimony about our first reading together. The first time I ever met Allyson was on my 28th birthday. My friend treated me to a reading with her as a birthday gift. I wasn't sure what to expect but I walked into my friends house and was met by a glowing candle, warm atmosphere and a welcoming psychic. Allyson explained to me her various talents including medium. I immediately latched on to that part of her because I desperately wanted to communicate with my grandmother who had passed 8 years ago. Some time during the reading I smelled smoke and Allyson pointed out to me that the candle right next to me had gone out. Her eyes had been closed so she asked if I had blown it out myself. I had not. I assumed that wick had simply drowned in the wax. My reading went on, but I still had not heard from my grandmother through Allyson. I asked her to please feel for her; I so badly wanted to hear something. As Allyson was reaching out to my grandmother the candle re lit itself. That's right. Smoking, completely out for more than 20 minutes to glowing with a healthy flame. Along with this powerful sign was a wonderful birthday message from my grandmother. I shared my story with my family and it proved to be an experience that kept on giving. It meant so much to each one of them that my grandmother was so strong and ever present in our lives.  May I also add that the candle was not Allyson's. It was just a typical scented candle that my friend had lying around her house.


This is not the first time I have experienced the flame of a candle being blown out by spirit and then re-lit by spirit.  In the book"Between Two Worlds" by Walsh and Nichols, Walsh describes her experience in my home.  "We were sitting when a micro burst of energy comes through the room."  "There was a power loss with all lights going out."  "We were sitting in total darkness." "Then the power came back on and the candles re-lit." "We were in a well lit room with lights on and candles burning to sitting in total darkness."  "The lights came back on and the candles were again burning.  All of this just took moments to occur."  Another recent example of physical phenomena is from a separate woman's testimony I received this past week.


My boss’s wife has finally graduated college after beginning in her early 20’s while raising a family and a husband as she would put it. As a graduation gift, a coworker and I bought her a gift card to see Mrs. Allyson. A week ago, she was sharing her recording of the reading. At one point, the recording goes into static. About 5 minutes into the discussion portion of the reading, you can hear the two women patiently taking turns to speak to one another. In the static, a hushed female voice breaths into the receiver. However, in this breath there are distinct words that are formed. It is almost as if the voice says “I see life”. I listened to the recording several times. I shared this audio clip with even some of my friends who are skeptics. All of which agreed that there was someone communicating through the receiver that was neither the living women that were present.

I am not sure how such metaphysical gifts are given or shared. But I do know that Mrs. Allyson allows other people to experience this with such grace and kindness though knowing that not all news is pleasant.  I do believe that some people are more capable than others when it comes to being more sensitive to energy. Without a doubt, she is one of them.

This would be an example of what is commonly called "EVP" or Electronic voice phenomenon, is the communication by spirits through tape recorders and other electronic devices.


It is my belief that the purpose of all of this from the non-physical is to communicate that there is no death.  Life continues.  I am amazed at what the people who have passed on in our lives can do for us.
