Don't Ask Why - Just Go With Your Gut
Many of you have asked me "Where do I begin to learn to develop my psychic abilities?" I have answered the same way every time with an answer that includes the author Sonia Choquette with one of her earlier books "Trust Your Vibes". The following story happened to me last week and is an example of receiving messages from your guides and angels and heavenly helpers. This is also a good demonstration of why you should listen to what your gut is telling you. This is called "learning to trust your vibe".
I was home alone all day from the moment I woke up. I am currently learning to live without sugar and wheat and gluten and most dairy so I have to cook for myself. My sweet husband usually enjoys the kitchen and cooking breakfast each morning but he wasn't home. I made myself some scrambled eggs using the stove and a lovely little breakfast infused with a lot of "self love". I sat alone and enjoyed my food. I even took a picture of it because it was perfect.
After I fed my body I moved into my room sitting at my altar praying and meditating. This is how I prepare for readings before my clients arrive. I had no client coming but it was my personal time to go within listening to whatever God had for me. When I finished praying I got up and moved over to my computer to do what tasks I normally do. I heard Spirit say "Blow out the candles." I looked at the two burning candles and thought "No they are safe." I continued with the computer. Two more times I heard "Blow out the candles!" I argued with my inner guidance saying "The candles are fine!" I couldn't concentrate and just said "OK!" It is really similar to an annoying pet begging for attention or something that just won't leave you alone. I got up from my desk walked over to my altar placed my hand behind each flame and blew them out. I was now at peace.
While up and away from my desk I decided I would pour myself another cup of tea. I opened the door leading to the kitchen when I ran into a shockingly heavy odor. My nostrils filling from butane that was filling the room. The gas vapors were heavy like a wet blanket. I apparently was not successful completely turning the gas stove burner off. The flame was not burning to the eye of the stove but the gas was still being released. I was shaken and had a moment of panic opening the door leading outside and turning on the fan to move some fresh air in.
I walked away feeling foolish and ashamed and said "Oh!" " So Thats why you wanted me to blow out the candles!" "Thank you God!"
I put you through an exercise before you leave my house when you come for a reading reminding you to ask your Guides for help. Maybe I should include the instructions to also "Listen!" Word.
